I am originally from Kentwood, MI where I played baseball, football and basketball at East Kentwood High School. I received my undergraduate degree in Health Education from Grand Valley State University. Afterwards, I went on to work for Georgia Tech University and the New York Met's Organization as a strength and conditioning coach.

After working for the Met's Organization I moved to Arizona where I spent the past 10 years. In that time I received a Master's in Education from Arizona State University as well as a teaching degree in Physical Education and Health Education. This past year was a huge adjustment for our family as we moved across country to the beautiful state of Michigan.

I am now currently in my 6th year of teaching and happy to say this is my first year here in Lowell! My family and I are so thrilled to be apart of this wonderful community :)

I have been married for 8 years to my wife Heather, who is a former teacher and is now a stay at home mom/photographer. We have 3 beautiful children, 2 of which are attending Murray Lake this year, Lily (7 years old) and Brielle (5 years old). Hudson (3 years old) is our youngest and is probably playing with rocks and dirt right now :)
